Biography

Cinematic electronics shaped by ice, air and piano.

Luis Rubio is an interdisciplinary artist and sound artist based in Reykjavik, originally from Spain. His work brings Mozarabic and Spanish harmony and rhythm into Arctic textures and field recorded atmospheres, grounded in classical piano and hybrid electronic production. He creates music built for picture, tactile and intimate, moving between fragile landscapes and deeper, apocalyptic worlds, shaped by natural time scales and a physical sense of space, developed through projects and collaborations across Iceland, Greenland, The Netherlands, Poland, UK and Spain
